I hope you are all having a great weekend! This will be a quick post, just wanted to update you on my weekend. I have spent that last two days at Piedmont Park, drinking, dancing and listening to some great music. Atlanta’s festival, Music Midtown, was back and bigger than last year. There was a unique line-up that drew crowds of all ages and catered to almost all music genres (noticeably absent was country).
I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of music. The line-ups included T.I., Avett Brothers, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Ludacris, Florence + The Machine, Neon Trees, and Pearl Jam among others. I danced, twirled and jumped up and down to the point that my calves are killing me today. Fortunately I do not have a hangover to go alongside the leg pain.
Here are some pictures to capture the craziness…and when I say craziness can you imagine over 56,000 people packed into Piedmont Park???!! Until yesterday neither could I.
