Good morning! I know it has been a while since I have posted and I don’t even know where to start…these past two weeks have been such a whirlwind. The last I updated you we were heading out on our farewell road trip. Over the ten day trip we drove through 11 states, slept in six beds, and visited with tons of family and friends. While we saw as many people as we could squeeze in there are definitely a few family members and friends we missed…to those folks we promise you will be our top priority when we are back to visit in October. Over the holidays I was determined to find a specific picture of my mom pregnant with me. I dug through boxes, albums and stacks of old photographs. I never did find the one I was looking for, but I did find some great shots from throughout the years. I even found a handful of my grandparent’s originals from the early 1900’s. I snuck some of them home with me (sorry mom!) and can’t wait to find antique frames to pair them with. Read More
When the clock strikes midnight it will officially be 2013, how did this happen?!?! Since I was a kid people have always told me, “The older you get the fast time flies by.” Until this year I didn’t really see how true that statement is.
